VENDOR RELATIONS

Call 800.575.2667 info@hgpgroup.com On behalf of the 1,300 HGP members, our purpose is to offer the marketplace a cohesive approach to group contracting, which reduces the operating costs of each participating facility, while allowing the bidding suppliers a unique opportunity to increase volume. HGP will endeavor to conduct the group contracting process in the interest of fairness to all eligible suppliers by adhering to the following guidelines:

THE BID PROCESS

Suppliers approved by member facilities and HGP staff will be eligible bidders. On occasion, vendor presentations will be necessary for a supplier to qualify. The bids will be sealed and awards will be made to the lowest acceptable bidder.

THE NEGOTIATING PROCESS

Suppliers suggested or requested by the membership and HGP staff will be invited to submit a proposal. In the best interest of competition and fair business practices, comparable suppliers will also be asked to submit proposals. HGP reserves the right to disqualify or reject any bid. The successful vendor will be approved and awarded a contract by HGP.
